Major The Hon Arthur Henry Henniker Coldstream Guards was initiated into United Lodge No 1629 and became a founder of Household Brigade Lodge No 2614.
He was the fourth son of Lord Henniker and married the writer Florence Henniker, the sister of Lord Crewe. She was a friend and collaborator Thomas Hardy.
He was a member of the Guards’ Club.
